Job Scope
The purpose of the post is to develop the strategy and ensure the efficient management of all aspects of G&G Retail Ltd. And Responsible for Maximizing Shop Sales, Profits and Service. To be responsible for the effective performance management of the Store Operations, District management team and Responsible for the management of all retail activities, taking overall responsibility for the recruitment with HR support, management and support of Staffs. To ensure that shops are operating in achieve set income and profit targets.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee overall 24 hours’ operations and customer service of a group of GnG stores assigned according to GnG standards.
- Analyze and Prepare the Findings and Action Plan for the District Weekly and Monthly Sales Performance, Loss Making Stores, Known and Unknown Shrinkage, and Labor Cost.
a. Execute annual budgets and business plans.
b. Provide solution, coaching and training to Managers.
c. Build strong team through strong communication.
d. Review stores performance, find the issues, and define action plan. - Address and resolve any business issues.
a. District Stock Unknown & Known Shrinkages
b. District Sale Performances
c. District GP performances - To Develop district by expending store network as per given targets from senior managements.
- Ensure that stock holding days are below given targets
- Ensure the store compliance to All SOP and government regulations by regular visiting the stores.
- Store Quality Follow up: Ensure that Deputy District Managers are visiting store regularly and follow store inquiry
a. Store appearance

c. Stroe structure condition (if any defect issue to be reported to concern Departments)
d. Store safety condition (internally & externally) - Communicating with Deputy District Managers
a. Timely communicates as operation emergency needs.
b. Weekly communicates for each Area Performances in all sectors. c. Monthly communicates for each Area Performance in all sectors. d. Quarter communicates for each Area Performances in all sectors. - Communication of store needs and issues back to the respective departments and management.
- To Enhance the employee productivity in District by using standard annexes.
- Submit all administrative paper works and reports completely and accurately on time.
- Attend and participate in required meetings and company events.
- Giving forecasted sales for new stores planned to open based on FFA.
- Implement control cost measures without jeopardizing store standards.
- Lead the team with integrity and work closely with senior management team to execute
- Perform given tasks assigned by Management within timeline.
- To Answer the external/Internal Audit Points within 10 days with corrective action plans.
Work Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in related field, especially in Retail
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills and analytical skills
- Advanced at MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be willing to work shifts/flexible to work overtime as often as required
Education
- Any graduate, and retail background will be advantage
